I have decided this is not a vaccine I want to push. If someone asks for it I will gladly give it to them, but only after counseling them on the facts as we know them today. I think we are experimenting on our young girls. My daughter opted to take this before talking with me, and luckily has had no problems. But when we are seeing these serious problems arise with the vaccine I don't think I would tell my daughter now to take it. Thanks for this post of yours.slh35661https://www.blogger.com/profile/16067392139236549941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772459128704388678.post-52539250021332691772008-07-09T15:30:00.000-05:002008-07-09T15:30:00.000-05:00Hi anon - thanks for reposting. Again, sorry for t...Hi anon - thanks for reposting. Again, sorry for the erasing mistake.

OK - first you have to figure in that there are 3 doses in a treatment. So - it is not "(0.1%)" because you are figuring in PEOPLE, not DOSES.... so you have re-figure that number.

Factor in this as well:
- the CDC still says that routine well-woman cervical checks are the best defense against cervical cancer...
- HPV only accounts for 70% of cervical cancer rates
- Gardasil only 'safeguards' against 2 of the forms of HPV that 'can' develop into cancer if not treated
- figuring in world-wide death rates is skewed as that figures in women who have no access to cancer treatment and life-saving surgeries.
- It doesn't kill 5,000 women in the U.S., the numbers are 3,700 (and that includes the 11% who don't go to routine paps that HAVE insurance - which does not account for the other 1/2 of the population without insurance who don't get their yearlies)

If you are going to debate something, make sure you know your information is accurate and make doubly sure that you are not catching a bad strain of foot-in-mouth.

Did you know that I had cancerous cells removed from my cervix? So I am not daft to the risks - at the same time, I am not a sheeple who has not done their research but simply regurgitated what they have heard touted from the 'other side'. The gals who are paralyzed - may never have gotten HPV, let alone cancer. The girls who died - may never have gotten HPV, let alone gotten cancer. The girls who had major organ failure - may never have gotten HPV, let alone cancer.

To me, it's a 'no-brainer': if we don't make a stink about the *few 8,000 girls* who got sick and *10 that died* to force such an uproar that they reevaluate this vaccine and MAKE IT SAFER - it will remain on the market as risky as it is. But maybe that is the problem here... ;o)

Really... that may be ok with you, but not me, I don't want them to be ok with it being this risky. I want them to pull it and make it safer before requiring it of families.

Question - what if it is *your* daughter who gets paralyzed, has kidney failure, or dies from a shot? It would be important to you then maybe?

Or would you still be of the mindset that it was worth the demise of a few for the better of the many... wow, saying it like that makes it sound a little Marxist, doesn't it?Nicole Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00221401549139626688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772459128704388678.post-84278494778602834742008-07-09T12:39:00.000-05:002008-07-09T12:39:00.000-05:00"I would love for there to be a SAFE cure for cerv..."I would love for there to be a SAFE cure for cervical cancer."

Cervical cancer kills 5,000 women in the U.S. every year. It kills 300,000 women around the world every year.

Deaths. Permanent. That's it!

For you to be asking for a 100% SAFE cure is rediculous. I hate to break it to you but nothing is 100% (figure in that 1 out of 100 Americans die fromauto accidents in their life time).

So, approx 8,000 "adverse events" (ranging from a death to soreness at the injection site) out of 8 million doses (0.1%) vs. a death rate where 53% of women diagnosed world-wide die.

Maybe you could explain why you are so worried about an extremely small possibility of an adverse event vs. a good chance you will die from cancer. Seems like a "no brainer" to me, but perhaps that is the problem to begin with.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772459128704388678.post-26967074589509765212008-07-08T13:29:00.000-05:002008-07-08T13:29:00.000-05:00oops, I accidently erased an anon post from someon...oops, I accidently erased an anon post from someone calling us ignorant for being concerned about these numbers... and stating that just because these things happened around the same time as the vax, it doesn't mean it happened FROM the vax.

I am not saying it IS because of the vax, but the evidence weighs heavily in that favor.

My issue is not that there IS a vaccine, but that the vaccine is TOO QUESTIONABLE to push so hard to have all girls vaxed with it. Lets talk about the interesting coincidence of the girls who are becoming paralyzed shortly after the shot... what are the odds that would happen in life? Pretty minute. Now, figure in the only thing these gals have in common was the Gardasil vax... makes it interesting.

What about these YOUNG GIRLS dying from major organ failure. Not so common for gals of adolescent years. Put into the mix the only thing they have in common is the vax... again, too much of a coincidence for me to ignore.

I would love for there to be a SAFE cure for cervical cancer. I would love for there to be a SAFE cure for most ailments... but so far the evidence doesn't support that we have found it.

Please, anon, feel free to resubmit the comment and I will publish. But why hide? The young girls are more concerned about pregnancy then STD's and we need to do something... Gardasil is clearly not the answer, nor is planned parenthood... we need a solution soon though, before my daughter is grown...Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07678347955604173755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772459128704388678.post-82949195233260785162008-07-08T08:02:00.000-05:002008-07-08T08:02:00.000-05:00I get so angry when I see their ad and then read a...I get so angry when I see their ad and then read about all the lives that the vaccine has ruined.

Profits over people, right?

Thanks for all the info.Shellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02860907200379863018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772459128704388678.post-11342286829879676172008-07-07T21:30:00.000-05:002008-07-07T21:30:00.000-05:00i seethe every time i see their "one less" campaig...i seethe every time i see their "one less" campaign ads. yes, my daughter and i will be one less.

one less sucker getting your shotOlivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01520966443612804862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4772459128704388678.post-38572160017312231972008-07-07T21:13:00.000-05:002008-07-07T21:13:00.000-05:00why am i not surprised??why am i not surprised??bellygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05011960242845102824noreply@blogger.com
